డీ ఎన్ ఏ పత్రికకు ఏకైక ప్రతినిధిగా ఉన్నప్పటికీ రమణ దేహాన్ని తుది వీడ్కోలు పలకడానికి పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో జర్నలిస్టులు వచ్చారు. ఫేస్ బుక్ లో నివాళులు అర్పించారు. ఈనాడు జర్నలిజం స్కూల్ 1992 బ్యాచులో రమణతో పాటు మేము చదువుకున్నాం. విషయం తెలిసి రమణ నివాసానికి చేరుకున్న మా బ్యాచ్ మిత్రుల్లో షేక్ బుడన్, వేణు, సత్యానంద్, మధు ఉన్నారు. నేను, నా భార్య హేమ కూడా కడసారి దర్శనం చేసుకున్నాం.
"ఇన్ని సంవత్సరాల బిజినెస్ జర్నలిజం లో రమణ ఎన్నడూ ప్రెస్ కాన్ఫరెన్స్ లలో గుఫ్ట్ లు తీసుకోలేదు. విందులకు కూడా దూరంగా ఉండేవాడు," అని ఒక ప్రముఖ సంస్థ లో పీ ఆర్ ఓ గా పనిచేస్తున్న ఒక మిత్రుడు చెప్పారు. ఇప్పటికే ఎల్ ఎల్ ఎం చేసిన రమణ జర్నలిజం వదిలేసి లా ప్రాక్టిస్ చేద్దామని భావించినట్లు తన సన్నిహిత మిత్రుడు సుకుమార్ చెప్పారు. "ఒక ఏడాది అయితే ఈ వృత్తి వదిలేవాడు," అని సుకుమార్ చెప్పగా..."ఎన్నో ప్లాన్స్ వేసుకున్నాడు. మధ్యలోనే వెళ్ళిపోయాడు," అని రమణ తండ్రి నాతొ అన్నారు.
జూన్ 20 న రమణ పుట్టిన రోజు. గత సంవత్సరం తన పుట్టిన రోజు నాడు శుభాకాంక్షలు చెప్పిన వారికి థాంక్స్ చెబుతూ రమణ ఫేస్ బుక్ లో రాసిన మాటలను సుకుమార్ గుర్తుకు తెచ్చుకున్నారు. రమణ ఇందులో తన కుమారుడు (పై ఫోటో లో డాన్స్ చేస్తున్నాడు..సాత్విక్) అనాధ కాకుండా వుండడం గురించి ప్రస్తావన తేవడం, ఆ తర్వాత మరొక పుట్టిన రోజు జరుపుకోకుండానే మనలను విడిచి వెళ్ళడం!!!

I do not want to use any loaded statements but thank you all my friends and well wishers. Some of my old friends including those who were not in good terms with me too called me to wish me. It was amazing. Special thanks to Prof Jyoitirmaya Sharma. Hope all your blessings will help me in keeping my job and earn bread and butter for my family for some more time. My son is just seven years old and I should keep working for at least another 20 years. I am sure your wishes will keep me alive for those many years and would not orphan my child till he settles down in his life. Thank you all.

మిత్రుడు రమణ అకాల మరణం కలచివేసింది ., ఇద్దరం బిజినెస్ రిపోర్టింగ్ చేసేవాళ్ళం.. నేను షేర్ కాలం అయన ఈనాడులో చేసాం. వెరీ శ్యాడ్ న్యూస్ ... ఇంతకంటే మాటలు రావడం లేదు.
We come across very rarely journalists like Ramana garu.In these days of high corruption,exploitation,extortions,press meet gifts,covers etc in the proffession of journalism Ramana garu as described by Ramu garu is a gem and it is very tragic o loose him at this young age.Hope the joyrnalists association and star journalists earning lakhs may come to rescue of his family to some extent to help them.He was very poor financially but highly rich morally.Hope his soul rests in peace away from the bad and ugly faces of the a section of proffession of journalism.
