సీనియర్ జర్నలిస్టు యోగేశ్వర రావు గారి ఏకైక కుమారుడు గౌతం దయనీయమైన ఆరోగ్య స్థితి విషయంలో చెన్నై జర్నలిస్టులు స్పందించిన తీరు నిజంగా అభినందనీయం. సోదరులు సురేంద్ర ('ది హిందూ' కార్టూనిస్ట్), నర్సిం ('ఇండియా టుడే' కార్టూనిస్ట్) మానవత్వంతో చాలా వేగంగా స్పందించారు. వారిద్దరూ పని తీరిక చేసుకుని స్వయంగా...బాబు చికిత్స పొందుతున్న వెల్లూరు వెళ్లి పరామర్శించి వచ్చారు.
"నేను ఎంతో నిస్పృహతో కుమిలి పోతున్నప్పుడు వాళ్ళు వచ్చారు. మానవత్వం బతికి ఉన్నదని మీరంతా నిరూపిస్తున్నారు," అని యోగేశ్వర్ రావు గారు ఆ తర్వాత నాతో అన్నారు. తనతో పనిచేసిన వాళ్ళు, తన వల్ల ప్రయోజనం పొందిన జర్నలిస్టులు ఈ కష్టకాలంలో మొహం చాటేయడంపై ఆయన పడుతున్న వేదన చెప్పలేనిది. సాక్షి యాజమాన్యానికి ఆయన కృతఙ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.

A journalist friend in Hyderabad, Y. Yogeswara Rao, is fighting for his 19-year-old son Gowtham's life. Gowtham, an alrounder in cricket, was in 2nd year B.tech when this rare neurological problem 'Transverse Myelitis' struck him. Since September 2009, he is confined to bed with his lower half is completely paralysed.
Yogeswara rao (yogi) took him to various hospitals in hyd and then to Kerala. Now he is in CMC, Vellore. There was a talk of stem cell treatment but the CMC doctors ruled it out. Now he is treated with steroids and physiotherapy.
Its going to be a long way and he may have to be in hospital for a few months more.. Yogi has spent all he had and he is in a hopeless condition as for as money concerned. I went to see Gowtham at CMC along with my cartoonist freind Surendra from "The Hindu". Yogi is a distraught man but you should see Gowtham's confidence!! Even after confining to bed for ten months he still believes he can walk up the mark and bowl, tomorrow morning!
As I witness the situation I can vouch for it this kind of supreme confidence and high morale means half the battle is won. Please do help him win this battle. A few more months of treatment and he will be out this.

suzy, the latest heart throb of Close Encounter show in TV9 has made kiss from her guests as a signature of her show. This kiss is just a sign of affection and love that guests show towards her. What could be the reason for pouring of such love and affection on suzy?
Here is the sad story behind suzy that, during a deadly accident few months ago suzy lost life in both of her legs and is in a position where she can’t walk properly. Looking at the self confidence, winning attitude and the way she is overcoming her physical disability with a smile on her face is all guests like about her.
Well, that’s an emotional part of suzy which TV9 management should take enough care of. In parallel it would be a well made attempt by TV9, if they come forward with a small (atleast 30 seconds) description about the life of suzy before the start of this encounter. It is not meant for her self publicity but for the sake of remaining as a role model for the society
