టీచర్ల కోసం NCTE వారి "Code of Professional Ethics"

నా స్కూలు జీవితాన్ని ఛిద్రం చేశారని నేను భావిస్తున్న ఇద్దరు నీచ్ కమీనే బేవార్స్ టీచర్లను కేంద్రంగా చేసుకుని నిన్న నేను రాసిన టపాకు మిశ్రమ స్పందన లభించింది. ఒకరిద్దరు సీనియర్ జర్నలిస్టులు ఫోన్ చేసి తామూ టీచర్ల బాధితులమేనని చెప్పారు. కొందరు మిత్రులు మాత్రం...విషయాన్ని గురించి కాకుండా....నాకు సంబంధించిన శారీరక, మానసిక, సైద్ధాంతిక విశ్లేషణలు చేసి, కొన్ని బ్లాంకెట్ స్టేట్ మెంట్లతో కామెంట్లు పంపారు. మర్యాదస్థులు అనుకున్నవారికి ఇక్కడే సమాధానమిచ్చాను. మరి కొందరికి జవాబివ్వడం కూడా వేస్టని ఆ కామెంట్లే పెట్టలేదు. ఇక్కడ మీకో మనవి.

అయ్యలారా...అమ్మలారా....గుండెలో గూడుకట్టుకున్న వేదనను వెళ్లగక్కే క్రమంలో పదాల, వాక్యాల రూపు సంతరించుకుంటున్న భావ పరంపరను మర్యాద అనే ఫిల్టర్లో వడపోసి సర్వ్ చేయడం.... ఇంట్రా పర్సనల్ కమ్యూనికేషన్ కు మంచి వేదికని నేను భావిస్తున్న నా ఈ బ్లాగ్ లో కుదరదని మీ అందరికీ మనవి.  అంత సాఫ్టుగా రాసుకోవాలనుకుంటే నిన్నటి పోస్టుకు నగిషీలు దిద్ది ఏ తెలుగు పత్రికైనా వేసుకునేలా రాసేవాడిని. రాచిరంపాన పెడుతున్న అత్తగారిని కోస్తా కోడలు తిట్టదలిచినా...."అత్తగారూ...మీరు దొంగ ముండ గారండీ..." అంటుందట. బ్లాగులో అది మన వల్ల కాదు. క్షమించాలి.

అంతగా బాధపడుతున్న మర్యాదస్థుల కోసం, సంస్కృతీ సంప్రదాయాల పరిరక్షణ ధ్యేయంగా పెట్టుకుని నా ఉద్వేగాల గురించి బాధ పడుతున్న వారి కోసం ఈ కింది సమాచారం. 

తల్లి, తండ్రి తర్వాత భారతీయ సమాజం గురువుకు అంత ప్రాధాన్యమిచ్చింది. గురువంటే దేవుడు. అందుకే గురు దేవో భవ అన్నారు. పిల్లలకు విద్యాబుద్ధులు నేర్పించే క్రమంలో గురువులు ఒకటి రెండు మాటలన్నా, చేయి చేసుకున్నా, గోడకుర్చీ, కోదండం వేయించినా పెద్దగా స్పందించడం మంచిది కాదు. నేషనల్ కౌన్సిల్ ఫర్ టీచర్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ వారు స్కూల్ టీచర్ల కోసం "Code of Professional Ethics" ను అమలు చేయాలని భావిస్తున్నారు. వారి ముసాయిదా పత్రంలో టీచర్ల ప్రవర్తనకు సంబంధించిన కొన్ని అంశాలు ఇలా ఉన్నాయి.
Preamble
--Recognizing that every child has a fundamental right to education of good quality
--Recognizing that every child has an inherent potential and talent
--Recognizing that education should be directed to the all-round development of the human personality
--Recognizing the need for developing faith in the guiding principles of purity, viz., democracy, social justice and secularism
--Recognizing the need to promote through education the concept of composite culture of India and a sense of national identity
--Recognizing that teachers, being an integral part of the social milieu, share the needs and aspirations of the people
--Recognizing the need to enhance self-esteem of teachers

Obligation towards student
--Treats all students with love and affection
--Respects the value of being just and impartial to all students irrespective of their caste, creed, religion, sex, economic status, disability, language and place of birth
--Facilitates students' physical, social, intellectual, emotional, and moral development
--Respects basic human dignity of the child in all aspects of school life
--Makes planned and systematic efforts to facilitate the child to actualize his/her potential and talent
--Transacts the curriculum in conformity with the values enshrined in the Constitution of India
--Adapts his/her teaching to the individual needs of the students
--Refrains from subjecting any child to fear, trauma, anxiety, physical punishment, sexual abuse, and mental and emotional harassment

--Keeps a dignified demeanour commensurate with the expectations from a teacher as a role model
