HYDERABAD: With recession blues slowly fading away, development of lifestyle community projects targeting high income group seem to be the latest marketing strategy of real estate developers in the city. One such project - Botanika was launched by KonceptAmbience at Gachibowli here on Monday.
Spread over 7.3 acres, the project offers luxurious flats and villas between 3,800 square feet and 7,000 square feet each with best amenities, including air-conditioning system, home automation system, designer modular kitchen etc.
The price range varies from Rs. 1.75 crore to Rs. 3.5. crore, depending on the space and features, said Mahabir P. Agrawall, chairman of KonceptAmbience at a press conference.
On the pricing of luxury villas, Mr. Agrawall said the project was targeted at Chief Executive Officers, Chief Financial Officers or persons drawing Rs. 5 lakh salary per month.
Since the group was targeting only the high-income segment, the question of recession or economic meltdown does not come into picture.
Already 30 per cent of bookings have been made, he disclosed.
“It is a Rs. 250 crore worth gated-community project and residents will have the luxury of a panoramic view of Botanical Gardens and Golconda Fort from their balconies for the next 100 years,” he said.
23 floors
The project would be developed in two phases.
Three towers comprising 23 floors and 220 flats would be constructed in each phase and already Rs. 52 crore was invested in the project for taking up basement and ground works.
Customers would have pay to Rs. 10 lakh as booking advance and delivery would be made within 30 months, he explained.
The focal point of the project would be the club house, which starts on the 18 {+t} {+h} floor and ends on the 21 {+s} {+t} floor. There would be two exclusives elevators connecting to the club house, which was being constructed at a cost of Rs. 4.5 crore.
New project
The group is also coming up with another project with affordable houses priced between Rs. 15 to Rs. 20 lakh at Gundla Pochampally soon.

N,Ram might not be aware of this story and it's genesis. It looks the reporter who covered the news might have received a very good costly compliment from the builders which might have been shared by his or her senior staff and this is routine to any business, corporate and real estate coverage in the media and there is no surprise at this news item which is definetely a paid news and nothing can be done either to prevent or tackle it as the media is addicted to it and the people are habituated to it and there is no other way to get out of it either for the media or people and we have become just onlookers,

Looks like you know very less about The Hindu. They may be playing low in Hyd. Many reporters in Chennai are notorious for their head strength. People were desperately waiting for another option for English Newspaperand breathed comfortably when The Times Of India announced its entry in TamilNadu. At the same time, the GM, marketing, rushed to the corporates 'offering' 50% discount on Ads provided they signed only with them. I also know a few people who simply and carelessly turned down the offer.

A musician friend ( Tamilian )very angrily told me that they write only about those who pay them.

To my dismay, I found an old coverage article in the archives about the Trinity of Classical Music. According to the report, Radha Bhaskar, a musicologist, stated in her lecture that though Tyagaraja Swamy, Syama Sastry and Mutthuswamy Dikshitulu were tamilians, all the three preferred to write in Telugu. And your most revered Newspaper, published it. Bhaashaa durahankaaram !

Paid news now-a-days is not construed as one if-

1. the payment is yearly, but not time to time.

2. it is between a company (or a political party, or a government) and an editorial board.

3. the payment is not in cash but in kind.

4. the publication of the news items is part of a mutually agreed and long-standing policy matter with the editorial board, but not an issue-based outburst.

if you start looking at the paid news phenomenon this way, it will be apparent that all news is now-a-days just paid news and there is nothing holy and spontaneous about any piece of reporting.. So, Mr. N. Ram has been blessed with plenty of escape routes to refute our allegations, even if this thing is brought to his notice.

Sorry, if I unwittingly hurt any conscientious journo. I am just speaking of a deviant trend.

It is clearly unwise of the reporter in question to highlight only one single venture and not to include a couple of other ventures too, at least to give his/her report a unsuspect touch of spontaneity and even-handedness.

During the celebration of The Madras Week, The Hindu doen't even mention the word 'telugu', though telugus are inseperable from the state. Madras was ruled by many Telugu Kings. Infact, the land where St. George Fort stands now, was sold by a Nayaka King to the British. They may mention 'telugu' any other time but not during the Madras Week when they discuss the history, development and culture of Chennai.

hindu is narrow minded and self righteous. it is a torture to read the verbose and bulky paper with very small font size.

there is no time or ఓపిక for reading lengthy articles. these fellas should increase font size and cut short the useless articles.

@ wit real : totally agree with you.

Agree with Anonymous. The Hindu has got stuck up in an age where there was no Television. They give pages of reports on both important and unimportant news. Reading the special features in the sub editions is tiresome. You need to immediately eat and sleep if you happen to read the sub editions.

Before the entry of The Times of India, The Hindu, in Chennai, published 99.99% stories about senior citizens, tradition, madi, aachaaram.(they boaste that they didn't have a page 3 and ofcourse, they were right.)Later, they started a tabloid exclusively for youth in the name of NXg and one more for movies, masala, Television, etc.

Earlier what they published in the main edition was mostly TN state news while DC balanced both, state and national. Now a days, they are publishing National news in the front page. Good...competition sharpens the brains.

Just finished reading an article in Metroplus before putting in a comment here. Bye, bye, I'm hungry.
